 There are many programs out there that promise the world. Spotmau is notorious for saying its products can do things that no software aps can do, for example boot *ANY* hard drive, fix any partition and so forth, and they offer 90 day money back guarantee. HDD Regenerator also falls into that category, only its 30-day money back guarantee is a bit of a problem. Who does one contact in the event one wants a refund? No one knows? There is no support...it\'s just existware.I have a corrupt partition that Spotmau\'s products can\'t fix. Ditto for ...

 Doesn`t work with ntfs. This program doesn't work with ntfs, so I could not test it.

 Buggy software Program has a poor user interface and is also very buggy.Trying to select a hard drive to scan for bad sectors only results in selecting ONE, and it is impossible to change to another one.It is impossible to perform a scan on several drives at once.Selecting another hard drive while scan is in progress will result in the hard drives jumping around in the list; unable to select another one.This is hardly what I would call a good program.

Wasted time This does not work with Vista Business at allResizing
 fat32 to ntfs on new acer notebook I couldn't get the main partition converted to ntfs from fat 32. The drive was locked? Had to boot in safe mode and do windows file conversion from dos prompt. convert c: /fs:ntfs (volume name was acer) and was able to convert files without losing data. I first tried to transfer all files from one partion to another and covert to ntfs then transfer the files back but, files were in use and couldn't be moved or copied. I am still hesitant to consolidate the partitions - afraid I will lose data. It seems that consolidating partitions reformats the drive ...
My answer to you email It's really nice of you to be interested in people's opinion for you product. I think it's really perfect product. I liked it very much. The problem is that i can't affort to buy it because i need to use it just once. Would be easier to format HDD. But the product is really nice, good for big companies where no one can format and loose info. I was searching for something free:)

So Far so Good I was not sure if I should download and try this out. I had recently had problems. Starting windows, it continued freezing at welcome screen, I tried as much as I could in safe mode and nothing seemed to work. I used different programs to clean my hard drive and help with this problem. After I installed Paragon Hard Disk Manager, and ran it, my computer finally booted up and has not froze since than. NO EXTERNAL USB DISK SUPPORT ON RESTORE CD I downloaded and installed Paragon Hard Disk Manager 8.0 Secial Edition.The Interface is OK and I did manage with the help file to figure out what to do to back up my Windows XP Pro system "WHILE IN THE WINDOWS INTERFACE", BUT, after creating the Necessary "Media Restore" CD and re-booting using this CD I CANNOT SEE my EXTERNAL USB Matxtor drive (that's where the Image file is stored). If you cannot locate it in the disk listing when the Restore CD is used then how do you expect to restore C: drive from the external USB drive WHERE THE ...

Nice product and provides a lot of detailed information. I really like the UI also. I did have a comment. When I ran a Self Test on a samsung 160GB SATA drive it ran okay but the HD was unusable after it completed. The OS completely lost it. I had to do a power off/on to get it back. I was really sweating it for a while. Also I had a bad sector reported by a backup application. Disk Sent. also showed a bad sector but said it was fixed and I did not have to do anything, but ...
This program was unable to read SATA Hard drive temperatures using a Promise SATA 300 TX4 controller card for the Seagate 1TB hard drives.

Hi all, i purchased driveclone3 on cd, when i went to install, it seemed ok until reboot time then all i end up with is a time out blue screen and then comp wouldn't reboot, then tried the download and that done the same thing, driveclone3 seems to be a total disaster,cheers,Rob.

Clone? Clone will not clone a clone. I clone a c: drive to d: drive. Then I booted from d: drive and removed clone software.
Then I cloned e: drive from d: drive.
E: drive wont boot.

Overall works well but has some bugs I have tried this product, and will consider it for purchase, but several nagging problems keep re-occuring. The system settings change without my prompt - most noteably the set feature for warning on overheat.
temperature moniter for external drive Your program was indicating a very high temperature constant for my Networked 160gb Seagate external drive (in Wellard Inclosure) even though not even switched on, it even indicates a constant temperature for the Laptop Harddrive, for example it does not indicate varible heat range, any suggestions.
